SW Rare Pairs Exchange 2018

Dear creator,

First of all, thank you for creating for me! I have no doubt that I'll enjoy whatever you end up making, and I look forward to seeing it!! The ideas below are generally suggestions; so long as you stick to my DNWs please feel free to stray as far from what I've written as you'd like! I'm a writer, so my brain naturally comes up with prompts that are probably better suited to writing rather than art, but, again, feel free to take as much or as little from my suggestions as you'd like if you're an artist!



Firstly, some general likes and DNWs, in no particular order.

Likes: hair braiding/hair care, bedsharing, cuddling, AUs (both canon and otherwise), couples that are obviously friends as well, fluff!!!, h/c is fine (emphasis on the comfort is preferred though), slice of life, family fic, world building, asexual characters/relationships, get together AND established relationship fics, gender/sexuality headcanons, fake dating/relationship, FWBs (especially if it evolves into ~feelings~ but that isn't required), wlw (and therefore, rule 63 so long as it turns it into a wlw ship), soulmate aus

DNWs: a/b/o, dubcon/noncon, incest, underage, significant age differences/power differentials, kink, explicit porn/PWP (anything you might rate M is fine, so long as it complies with the other DNWs), cheating, major violence, unhappy endings, anything Sith/Empire/Dark Side/First Order-positive, any master-padawan ships, character death (unless otherwise specified), unwanted pregnancies, graphic descriptions of birth, mpreg

I think that's everything, but I'll make a note with the date if I edit to add anything to either of those lists. And now onto some of the specific ship stuff!

Padmé ships

Padmé/Sabé  I'm happy to see TPM-era with a sweet, childhood/teenage sweethearts vibe, them trying to figure out their dynamic once Padmé is no longer queen, or post-ROTS (raising the twins?? joining the resistance?? going into hiding??). Honestly, anything is fair game. Past-Anakin/Padmé is fine for AUs, but please stick with the DNWs!

Padmé/Dormé  I would love to see them leaning on one another as they try to adjust to life on Coruscant, or in the aftermath of the assassination attempt that killed Cordé, or during the course of the war as things continue to get worse. I'd also be down for post-ROTS stuff as well. 

Padmé/Dormé/Sabé  I would love for this to be set during Padmé's senator years, with the three of them trying to figure out their dynamic, now that Padmé is no longer queen and Sabé isn't her double. Post-ROTS h/c is welcome too!! Esp if it involves the three of them raising the twins somewhere.

Padmé/Breha  Give me these two queens meeting, perhaps at the tail end of Padmé's reign? Or once Padmé is a senator? 100% would die if this ship focused on hair in someway, bc my biggest weakness is wlw and hair lol. I would prefer, if Bail is in the picture here, that he and Breha have an open relationship.

Jamillia/Padmé  Please no big age differences here! I'm not sure what Jamillia's age is in canon, but anything with these two I would prefer they both be overage. Ohter than that, go wild! Why couldn't Padmé say no when Jamillia asked her to be senator? Or perhaps their relationship over the course of the war, from when Padmé first becomes senator to the end, when Apailana takes over and Jamillia is free to pursue a relationship (whump in the form of Padmé's death on this one is okay)

Handmaiden ships

Rabé/Fives  I have fallen in love with this ship thanks to some of the stuff on ao3 and tumblr! I haven't read The Fic for them yet, but I'd be happy to see a little fic for them where they're happy and safe and in love.

Saché/Yané  What happened when they were left behind during the events of TPM? What do they do after Amidala's reign is over? Hit me with all of your headcanons!

Ellé/Moteé  A canon interracial wlw couple! Too bad their scenes were deleted (I think). What's going on with them during the vents of the movie(s)? What do they do once the Republic has fallen and Padmé is dead? Were they in a relationship before they were employed by Padmé or did they have a hilarious meet-cute that Padmé and the others tease them about all the time? Hit me with your headcanons, I'm ready for them!!

Jamillia/Rabé  Again, please be conscious of their ages, but I'm open to pretty much everything on this one. Does Rabé stay at the palace during Jamillia's reign to work as part of the security force? Does she continue as a handmaiden? Is she doing something else? How do they meet???

Leia ships

Jyn/Leia  Oh boy. They both have to be so tough with/strong around other people, I'd love to see some tenderness between them in a quiet moment (Leia letting Jyn take down her braids anyone? Or is that just me? haha). Alternatively, what are the other ways they could have met, assuming Jyn survived Scarif (or even not)? They grow up snapping at each other, because they don't agree with the other's parent's way of doing things, until the tension finally snaps? The world is your oyster my friend.

Leia/Evaan  What if they met on Alderaan, before it was destroyed? Or, where do the Alderaanian refugees end up settling? Does Leia go to visit them? Or maybe a missing scene from the comic? Again, I'm a sucker for hair and world building, so feel free to play with that if you'd like.

Amilyn/Leia  Ah, I love these two! Both as young women, first settling into their roles in the senate/the resistance, and as older women (as we see them in tlj), and all the years in between! Past or background-Han/Leia is fine, so long as, if they're together at the time of the fic, they have an open relationship.

Dalné/Leia  This ship has so much potential!! They're about the same age and feeling similar pressures, as queen and princess (and budding rebel). What happens after the events of Leia, Princess of Alderaan? Do they stay in touch? Do they perhaps have a teenage-hormone-driven fling when Leia is on Naboo (again, no underage that will go past T please)? Later, when Leia is trying to learn more about her mother, does she return to Naboo and meet Dalné again?

Obi-Wan ships

Obi-Wan/Beru  Feel free to write this either as an open relationship on Beru/Owen's end, or as Owen having died for whatever reason :( Obi-Wan/Ben brings Luke to the farmstead and ends up not leaving, because he needs Beru's help and support in the wake of the events of ROTS as much as she needs his.

Obi-Wan/Owen/Beru  Similar to above, except Owen is alive and both he and Beru work to make Ben part of the family, despite his insistence otherwise. Even if Obi-Wan is closing to a QPP for the two of them rather than a romantic/sexual partner, I'd love to see how you manage their dynamic together!

Padmé/Obi-Wan  Post-ROTS Padmé/Obi is my jam, particularly if they're raising the twins together! This is stretching my limit on age stuff, but so long as they're both fully adults I'm happy to go with it (nothing before the events of aotc, please)

Bail/Breha/Obi-Wan  Are they together during the events of the war? Do they meet sometime during the bap between TPM and AOTC? Does Bail bring home two babies and a heartbroken jedi after ROTS? 

Enfys ships

Please, again, no underage here. I don't have any particular requests for the ships, but I'd love to see an exploration of the women of the rebellion and their relationships with one another, especially before the events of Scarif/Yavin, before the rebellion cells have been brought together. Or, alternatively, how they integrate? How do they learn to work together? Mostly I would just like women being badass and gay in space haha

Other ships (these are in no particular order; sorry for the mess)

Bail/Breha  I love them, and I'm so sad about their relative lack of content. We see so little of Breha in canon, I'd love to see your take on her! How do they handle being apart so long? Does the war affect Alderaan in any way? What about after the rise of the Empire? Bail/Breha & Leia slice of life stuff is what sustains me.

Kaeden/Ahsoka  Do we get more than what we got in the book?? Do they meet again years later and find there's still a spark?? There's so much time between the novel and ANH, I'd love to see your thoughts.

Miara/OFC  Miara was young and headstrong in the Ahsoka novel, but we know she was a pilot on Alderaan. I'd love to see who she grew up to be, and who she may have fallen in love with over the years (perhaps during one of her missions? Or someone on Alderaan?). OC doesn't necessarily have to be a woman, but that would be my preference.

Miara/Jessamyn  Similar to the above prompt, but this time with a named character. Jessamyn was also an Alderaanian pilot, and we see her during Miara's short story in From a Certain Point of View. Are they already lovers? In the wake of Alderaan's destruction, do they become closer?

Apailana/OFC  This could be one of Apailana's handmaidens, or perhaps someone she meets while her decoy is acting as Apailana. How does Apailana handle the fall of the Republic, since the new Emperor is from her homeworld? How does that affect her ability to rule or protect her people? If we're going with Legends stuff, perhaps she falls in love with one of the Jedi padawan she's harboring after Order 66? I know Wookieepedia says she dies in 18 BBY but maybe she doesn't??? 

Annileen/OFC  I'd love to see Annie fall in love with someone after the events of the Kenobi novel! Perhaps another non-traditional student in her university program? Or someone on Alderaan, once she settles there with her kids? 

Shmi/OFC  I've seen some awesome prompts for this pairing in the past, and honestly I'm just gonna stick with the trend. Does Shmi go out into the desert and meet the Force personified as a woman? Does Shmi have a wife who helps her raise Ani? Does she get freed and meet someone wherever she ends up??

Rey/O [Force-Sensitive] FC  The Force-Sensitive bit is optional here, but that would be super cool! I'd like to see Rey adjusting to life in the resistance (perhaps after the events of tlj?). Perhaps she meets another rebel? Or meets a force sensitive woman during one of her missions? Perhaps she had a bit of a fling with another young woman when she was a teen on Jakku? Background Finnpoe is totally chill on this one!

Breha/OFC  Perhaps in her university days, before she met Bail, Breha has been in love with a young woman. Maybe this young woman was a bit of a hellion, which would explain some of Breha's advice to Leia about falling in love! Honestly I'd love to see anything here.

Kallie/OC  Similar to my stuff for Annileen, I'd love to see what Kallie gets up to once they leave Tatooine! She's exuberant, to say the least, during the events of the novel, but who does she grow up to be? I'd love to maybe see Jabe and Annileen teasing Kallie for her crush on Ben Kenobi in front of her partner, and Kallie being embarrassed because of how young she'd been then.

A'Yark/OC  I was so stoked when it was revealed that A'Yark was a female Tusken!! The novel and Wookieepedia have plenty to say about Tusken gender roles, but I'd love to see your take on it, as well as how Tusken gender and society works in general! World building!! The OC can be male or female, but I would prefer that they're Tusken as well, to fit with book. But otherwise, the world is your oyster!!! 

Jyn/Bodhi  Can be a part of Jyn/Bodhi/Cassian or not, either way works for me. I'd love to see Jyn learning to be soft with Bodhi, and Bodhi remembering how to sharpen his edges with Jyn. Preferably they survive Scarif; I don't feel like Bodhi is in a place for romance during the events of the movie. AUs are absolutely welcome for them too!!
