Obi-Wan Kenobi Genfic Exchange

 First of all, thank you for creating for me! I have no doubt that I'll enjoy whatever you end up making, and I look forward to seeing it!! The ideas below are generally suggestions; so long as you stick to my DNWs please feel free to stray as far from what I've written as you'd like! Feel free to also take a look at my dear creator letters for previous exchanges, some of that might be relevant! (Also, I apologize for the font differences. I never understand how stuff ends up changing sizes partway through.)

Firstly, some general likes and DNWs, in no particular order.

Being the useless gay that I am, I'm always down to see more content with the ladies that Obi-Wan did (or could've) interacted with in canon. Canon compliant or divergent is totally fine with me, I'm sure I'll love whatever strikes your fancy. Some ideas to get you started though, if you're interested:

• What happens if Padmé survives giving birth to the twins?
• Does Obi-Wan ever have a mission that includes guarding the Queen of Alderaan? If so, I think he'd probably end up with a headache, because we know Leia didn't learn her recklessness from just Bail.
• As Luke grows up, do Obi-Wan and Beru become friends at all?
• While Anakin and Padmé are off doing Important Things elsewhere, do Obi-Wan and Dormé bond at all?
• During the course of TPM when Padmé and Qui-Gon are off doing Important Things on Tatooine, do Obi-Wan and Sabé-as-Amidala bond at all?
• What if Obi-Wan had ended up going in Qui-Gon's stead on Tatooine, and met Shmi? What if they had freed Shmi as well?

For the Jedi ladies, I'm happy with anything. Some of the ages in canon are iffy, so I'm down with Shaak being a mentor, Luminara being a peer, and Aayla being a mentee. They're all still his equal though when we see them in canon, so I'd be happy to see that dynamic as well.

Generally I'm most interested in character dynamics, shenanigans, and BAMF women who drag Obi-Wan along behind them (though he's perfectly capable of taking care of himself, thank you!).Soft, fluffy friendship fics are also totally okay, we can all use more happy Obi in our lives!




Kenobi novel

I listened to the audiobook for Kenobi and absolutely loved it. I would love to see something that included Annileen and/or Kallie, either around the time of the book or long after—do they survive the destruction of Alderaan and maybe join the Rebellion (presuming Obi-Wan survives the Death Star)? Do they come back to Tatooine eventually?

I also loved A'Yark and all the worldbuilding we got for the Tuskens—but I'm always down for more. Do they become tentative not-enemies-but-not-quite-friends after the course of the book? How do their future interacts go? (I'm also down for the exploration of gender in Tusken society and how that affects A'Yark, if you're really feeling adventurous).


Parental/mentoring role

This is all about Obi-Wan as a mentor or parental figure! Feel free to take this wherever you'd like—does Obi-Wan raise one (or both) of the twins? Does Asajj defect earlier and ends up Obi-Wan's grouchy and mostly-grown remedial padawan? Is there a missing scene from Ahsoka's padawanship where Anakin is off elsewhere? Numa?? Force ghost!Obi-Wan with Finn and/or Rey? Honestly, I'm down for anything.

Another option here (and this is very optional, since I'm only including it in my letter), is Obi-Wan in the creche with the younglings. Give me alllll the cute baby-related fluff.


The Men (and misc.)

Again, I'm a useless gay, so this section is probably going to be the shortest (sorry fellas). Friendship, camaraderie, and mentoring (with Obi being the mentee this time) are all great. Crazy shenanigans with Hondo are always welcome. The Council looking out for Obi during the war. Obi looking out for the 212th during the war (we see so much of the clones taking care of him—which I love—but I want to see Obi taking care of them as well, be it in little moments during down time or big ones on the battle field).
